Help and limitations

Time Sparrow is a browser timer suite. It is fast and private, but it is not a replacement for operating-system alarms when the device sleeps.

Keyboard shortcuts

• Space — start, pause or resume
• R — reset
• F — fullscreen
• M — mute
• L — lap (stopwatch)

Alarm limitations

Alarms and notifications work reliably only while Time Sparrow remains open. Device sleep or closing the app can prevent an alarm. Do not rely on it for critical medication or safety reminders.

Installation, offline use and updates

After the first complete online visit, the installable app caches every timer workspace for offline reloads. A visible offline notice confirms when the network is unavailable. Browser permissions, notifications and Wake Lock may still be unavailable offline or in a particular browser.

When a new version is ready, Time Sparrow asks before activating it so an active timer is not interrupted unexpectedly. Choose Update now when it is safe to reload.
